Xuzhou Metro Line 1

Xuzhou Metro Line 1 is the first subway line to start construction in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. It was invested and constructed by China Construction in the PPP model. Construction started on February 13, 2014. The first phase of the project opened for operation on September 28, 2019, with the logo color red.

Xuzhou Metro Line 1 runs east-west, starting from Luwo, Tongshan District, in the west, and East Xuzhou East Station in Jiawang District. It passes through Quanshan District, Gulou District, and Yunlong District. It covers the east-west passenger flow corridor of Xuzhou City and connects Xuzhou City. Important nodes such as the old city, Bashan District and Chengdong New District connect commercial centers such as People's Square, Pengcheng Square, Huaihai Plaza, and Wanda Plaza, and quickly connect Xuzhou Station and Xuzhou East Railway Station.

Xuzhou Metro Line 1 is the first batch of subway projects invested and constructed in the PPP model in China. It is also the first subway line in northern Jiangsu and Huaihai Economic Zones.
