Nanjing Metro Line 4 is the seventh line completed and put into operation in Nanjing Metro. It officially opened on January 18, 2017. The logo color is purple and is affectionately called "Azi" by everyone. As a backbone line in the urban rail transit network, Line 4 runs through Nanjing east-west. The first phase of the project runs from Longjiang Station on Caochangmen Street in the west to Xianlin Lake Station in Xianlin University Town in the east, passing through 18 stations, with a total length of 33.75 kilometers. The total length of the project is 33.8 kilometers, including 32.3 kilometers of underground lines and 1.5 kilometers of elevated lines; a total of 18 stations are set up, including 17 underground stations and 1 elevated station.
